Targeted Support
C Data can provide first line support for the user experiencing the problem and/or a second line support where additional technical resources are provided to supplement internal staff with support enquiries filtered through nominated users.
Monitoring and Pre-Emptive Support
A key element for our support services is to identify problems before they become serious. This is achieved through a mixture of regular site visits, remote access to key servers and implementing monitoring software which, on specific events, automatically trigger e-mails and pagers for C Data's attention.
Security
C Data aim to maintain Internet facing systems to the standards laid down by the Data and Network Security Council in their "Internet System Security Standard". (INSECS). Optional certification to this standard is available.
Housekeeping and System Management
Support agreements include undertaking specific tasks on behalf of the client and an agreed strategy for regular tasks on a daily/weekly/monthly or quarterly basis.
